Boulders Golf Club & Resort is a Resort 36 hole golf facility located in Carefree, Arizona. The facility has two 18-hole championship courses. They are The Boulders North Course and The Boulders South Course.
The club has a private golf membership, but it also allows for public play. These courses are continually alternated, allowing one to be kept private while the other is used by hotel guests and the public.
Both Courses were designed by Jay Morrish. The North Course opened in 1985. The South Course opened in 1993.
These desert courses are well maintained, and the scenery is breathtaking. The natural desert terrain has been left in place on the sides of the fairways, and in many cases, in the middle of the fairways as well, so accurate shots are required. Both courses provide challenges and enjoyment for all skill levels of golfer.
The Boulders South Course
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,589 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,715 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 557 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 529-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 143 yard par-3.

Top notch experience all around. If you offer to tip, the staff refuses. Tips are included in the greens fee.
